Overview
Jeqo-itî Bî was founded durring the early 15th century in summer of the year 1449, by Priocetus Glegfeshe. The establishment of Jeqo-itî Bî was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Priocetus Glegfeshe struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Jeqo-itî Bî as a prison colony.
Jeqo-itî Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jeqo-itî Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.
Jeqo-itî Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious packed earth streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Unfortuantly, these cost-cutting-focused defences are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
Jeqo-itî Bî has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Jeqo-itî Bî ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the town one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
